Fake meds disable at least one dog, TCR has learned--and Amazon declines to say how many more

Zoe Rittgers, a 10-year-old bull terrier, suffered from painful, unyielding infections in both ears for months that led to hearing loss and, now, liver disease from steroids needed to her ear infections, says Zoe's owner. The culprit, it turns out, was counterfeit ear medication sold directly through Amazon's main storefront.
